Reminder: Car Rider Lines and Dismissals

Posted Date: 03/06/26 (10:41 AM)

Happy March!

We want to extend a friendly reminder to returning students and all new students regarding our afternoon traffic flow, particularly out front where all high school car riders are picked up:

When entering campus from Boyds Creek Highway, car riders will be picked up from the horseshoe loop that goes in front of the main entrance. There will be two lanes for pick up once you are in "the loop." If you are directed into a specific lane by our bus duty admin, please stay in that lane to prevent any fender benders.

The "Back Road" from Pitner Rd, which goes between our stadium and the junior high school, is a one way road in the afternoons. Our student drivers utilize both lanes of this exit at the stadium, and the right lane before the stadium breezeway is used for student drivers or faculty who are picking younger children up from the junior high school.

Any parent whose children attend the junior high school and DO NOT have classes at the high school, you must enter the junior high pick-up line from Pitner Rd. You are not able to use the high school parking lot as a "cut through."

If your child is a 9th grade student who has a class at the high school during 4th period, your student will be dismissed from the high school. If your 9th grade student is a car rider and has a 4th period at the high school, you will pick him or her up from the front of the high school in the car rider lines. The front of the high school is also where any 9th grade student with a 4th period at the high school will catch any of the buses.

Any time buses are entering or exiting our campus, all vehicle traffic will be stopped by bus duty admin to give buses the necessary space to enter campus, safely load and unload bus riders, and exit campus. When the buses are through loading all riders, traffic will be allowed to flow again.

We thank you for your cooperation in helping us ensure the safety of all students, parents, and faculty on our campus. Go Eagles!
