Principal – Mr. Greg Haggard

Mr. Greg Haggard is a 1977 graduate of Seymour High School.  He began teaching in the Fall of 1983 and came to SHS in Fall of 1984.  At Seymour High School he taught Business, Accounting, Business Law, Economics and Algebra l before moving into Administration in 1997. Mr. Haggard also coached a variety of sports at SHS in a 20 year span that included football, basketball, baseball, softball and bowling.

Assistant Principal – Ms. Brandi Stallings

Ms. Brandi Stallings is a graduate of Jefferson County High School. She attended the University of Alabama at Birmingham, graduating in 2001 with a bachelor’s degree in Physical Education.  In 2003, Brandi completed her master’s degree in supervision and administration at Lincoln Memorial University.  She began her teaching career in Sevier County where she taught at New Center, Sevierville Intermediate, and Northview Primary.  She then moved to Central High School in Knox County, where she spent four years.  In 2010, she returned to the Sevier County School System to be a Physical Education teacher and coach at Seymour High School.  During her teaching career, she has also coached multiple sports, including basketball, tennis, and volleyball.  She is now excited to be in administration at Seymour.

Assistant Principal – Dr. Katie Messer

Dr. Katie Messer is a 2005 graduate of Gatlinburg-Pittman High School. She attended Tusculum College in Greeneville and graduated with a Bachelor’s in Arts degree in English with a Journalism Concentration. After working for a local newspaper for several years, Katie began her career with the Sevier County School System as a Special Education Assistant at Pittman Center Elementary. She was hired as an English teacher at Gatlinburg-Pittman High School in 2016. In 2017, Katie completed her Masters of Arts Teaching degree at Tusculum University. In 2018, Katie completed her Educational Specialist degree at Lincoln Memorial University. Katie completed her Educational Doctorate degree at Lincoln Memorial University in 2022. During her time as a teacher, Katie has coached the GPHS swim team and was the assistant coach to the GPHS Cross Country team. She joined the Seymour High School faculty as an assistant principal in January 2024.

Assistant Principal – Dr. Tiffany Ramey

Tiffany Ramey graduated from Rhea County High School in 2007. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education–Mathematics from Tennessee Tech University in 2012. While working as a graduate assistant, she completed a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction in 2013. 

Dr. Ramey began her career at Rhea County High School, where she taught Algebra II for two years before moving to Sevier County with her husband. She then taught Algebra II and Geometry at Seymour High School for three years. In 2018, she joined the founding staff of Seymour Junior High School, where she taught Algebra I and Geometry until 2025. She earned an Education Specialist degree in Instructional Leadership in 2022 and a doctorate in Instructional Leadership in 2024.

Dr. Ramey later served as a Mathematics Instructional Coach for Sevier County Schools before returning to Seymour High School as Assistant Principal. She is dedicated to helping students succeed, supporting teachers, and creating a positive school environment.
